We will review and act on valid notices expeditiously.

Requirements for a Valid DMCA Takedown Notice

Your written notification must include all of the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. Your contact information
    • Full legal name
    • Physical mailing address
    • Telephone number
    • Email address
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work A clear and specific description of the original copyrighted material(s) you claim have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material Exact URLs or direct links to the specific pages, posts, images, videos, or files on HPMix.com that you believe are infringing (e.g., https://hpmix.com/content/abc123). Vague or general references are not sufficient.
  4. Good faith statement A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Perjury statement A declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Signature Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name at the end of the notice qualifies as an electronic signature).

What Happens After We Receive Your Notice

  • We will acknowledge receipt of your notice promptly.
  • If your submission complies with all statutory requirements, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material as soon as reasonably possible.
  • We will notify the user who posted the content of the removal or disablement and provide information on how to file a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
  • If a valid counter-notification is received, we may restore the material unless we receive formal legal notice from you that you have filed an action seeking a court order against the user.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe your content was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. A proper counter-notice must include:

  • Your full name, physical address, telephone number, and email address
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its previous location
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., the district where HPMix.com is located)
  • A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Important Reminders
